What is Get Lost all about?
Our overarching mission is to create positive change through travel. We want to eliminate the idea that travel is expensive. We offer affordable and adventurous trips, and we ensure you get a fantastic local experience. Whether you are a seasoned vet or entirely new to international travel, we are here to connect you with incredible experiences and people.
Why join a Get Lost trip?
FUN – You’ll be spending time in a new place while adventuring with a bunch of cool people your age! By the end of the trip, expect to make a number of new best friends!
HASSLE FREE – We’ve got you covered and have taken care of all the stress in planning travel so you don’t have to! As a travel company, we get group discounts at numerous attraction and accommodation that we can pass along to you, the guests!
INSIDER KNOWLEDGE – We have contacts at each one of our destinations and can handle all of the logistics with ease.
Do people travel solo or with friends/family?
Solo travelers are always welcome and why we created Get Lost – to give everyone a chance to get out and meet new people! Whether you’re a solo traveler or have friends/family that would like to join, everyone is welcome!
Who goes on Get Lost Trips?
Our trips are designed for individuals aged 21-40 who are looking to travel more and meet like-minded people along the way. We try to keep groups at approximately a 50/50 male to female ratio so everyone feels comfortable!
How many travelers per group?
Trips work best with 6-12 travelers per group . On average there are about 10 travelers per trip.
Who am I rooming with?
Unless otherwise requested, or noted within the accommodation portion of the trip details page, guys and gals will have separate rooms accommodating 2-4 travelers. If traveling with a friend or partner, let us know so we can group you together!

Welcome to the Get Lost family!
Once you’ve decided which trip you want to join, click the “book” button on the trip page. This will take you to a secure embedded booking page. Here you can enter your info, pick your optional activities, and click “BOOK”. Once you’re confirmed, you will receive an email from us with next steps.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send us an email or text. If you’d like to talk with someone before booking, let us know and we’ll schedule a call!
What is Your Refund Policy?
Traveler Initiated cancellation:
Sometimes life gets in the way. If you cancel, you are responsible for the below amounts.
90 or more days before departure: Traveler receives full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
Between 30-89 days before departure: Traveler receives 50% cash refund OR can transfer 100% amount paid to a different Get Lost trip on a later date.
Less than 30 days before departure: Non-refundable. Please consult with your Travel Insurance provider to understand if your situation qualifies for their help in recovering some of your expenses.
Get Lost initiated cancellation:
If we have to cancel the trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
